GENERAL QUESTIONS
- 1. Do extra adults not skating have to pay just to come in?
- We do not charge admission for parents and grandparents to come in and watch but if they skate, they will need to be put on your guest list or pay regular admission at the ticket office. All other guests besides parents and grandparents will be charged regular admission prices.
- 2. What is the smallest or biggest QUAD/Roller Blade Skate size you rent?
- We have size 10 toddlers all the way up to size 14 in adults. Roller blades are from size 1 juvenile to 11 in adults.
- 3. What is the age limit for skaters?
- If they can fit in skates, they can skate. It is really up to the individual or their parent if they want to assume the risk.
- 4. Can we bring a stroller on the floor?
- Strollers are not allowed on the skating floor and there is no carrying of children while wearing skates at an anytime.
- 5. Can we wear shoes on the floor to help our kids?
- All persons on the skating floor have to have skates on, to be on the floor. If a parent wishes to help their child to skate, they must have skates on. We have Skate Mates to help children learn to skate and they can be rented at the skate counter.
- 6. Can we bring our own skates?
- Yes! As long as they pass inspection at the ticket window, you can wear them on the floor. No Heely shoes, skate boards or scooters allowed.
- 7. Do you have food for purchase?
- YES!!! We have a full concession with lots of choices. Our menu consists of Coke products, nachos, hot dogs, pretzels, churros, chicken nuggets, chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks, chips, popcorn and a wide variety of candy options.
- 8. Can we bring our own food in?
- We do not allow outside food or beverages in our facility. A cake is the only exception and you must have a reserved party in order to bring it in.
- 9. Can we pay with Debit/Credit?
- YES! For all public skating sessions we accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover Card for Skates and Admission. All card transactions will have a 3.5% surcharge added to the total amount. Our concession only accepts cash and we have an ATM on site.
- 10. Do you sell gift certificates?
- We do not offer gift certificates, however we do sale Summer Skate Passes that are good for JUNE thru August.
- 11. Do you have a dress code?
- YES! Everyone entering must be in compliance with our dress code for the entire stay or they will be asked to leave without a refund. No hats, hoods, bandanas are allowed in the facility. No revealing clothing or sagging pants, no tank tops for men and no tube tops for women. The appropriateness of attire is at the discretion of rink management.
- 12. Do you have somewhere to store valuables and personal items?
- We have lockers that you can use for $1.00.
- 13. Do you have a group discount?
- We offer group discounts on all weekday public skating sessions but not on weekends. For group rate information please call our office @ 702-645-4892
- 14. Do you have Private Parties available?
- Yes, we have several options to fit your individual needs. Please call our office @ 702-645-4892 or go to our web site @skatevegas.com/ranch for more information and pricing.
- 15. Can I wear my skates in your parking lot as I enter or exit the building?
- For safety reasons no one is allowed to wear skates into or out of the building or in the parking lot. You must wear shoes upon entering and exiting our building.
- 16. Do you sell skates?
- YES!!!! We have a wide variety of roller skates and roller blades. They come in all price ranges, sizes and colors. Please come visit our Pro Shop during open session times to look at our catalog and speak with a qualified representative or go online @skatevegas.com/rancho/proshop
- 17. If we do not want to use regular skate rental can we upgrade to roller blades?
- YES! We offer roller blades for no additional cost in sizes 1 juvenile thru size 11 adults.

BIRTHDAY PARTIES

- 2. Can I bring in a cake and just do my own party at a table?
- We always require a party package reservation 72 hours in advance for a cake and presents to be brought in. We provide Birthday Party Packages for you and your guests to enjoy and celebrate your party. These Birthday Party Packages may be booked at skatevegas.com/rancho. We do not allow cakes, presents, or any other birthday items to be brought in the facility.
- 3. What time do I come for my Birthday Party?
- Each party reservation is for a 2.5 hour blocks. For example: If you pick a 12:00-2:30pm birthday party time, you may check in at 11:45, your table will be ready at 12:00 and you must be off the table by 2:30pm.
- 4. Can I bring in Goody Bags?
- You can bring your own Goody Bags but we ask that you give them out at the end of your party time with us when your guests are leaving.
- 5. Can I bring in outside decorations?
- You can bring in balloons and you own table decorations, if you wish. Please let your Party Hostess know when you arrive that you have your own decorations so that we do not set up ours. We want to make things simple and easy for you and ask that you don t bring extra items with you such as confetti poppers, compressed silly string, glitter, etc. You can bring in balloons and/or your own table decorations if you wish. We do not have a place to store party items and we do not have helium for balloons.
- 6. How long is my Birthday Party time?
- Birthday Party Packages are 2.5 hours in length and are reserved on Saturdays and Sundays. Due to parties booked before/after yours we are not able to extend birthday party times.
- 7. What if my guests are late and miss the party time?
- We recommend having guests arrive on time to ensure they can enjoy the entire Birthday Party. (Make sure the parent responsible for the Birthday Party brings the guest list on time, no guest will be allowed to skate till the guest list arrives) If your guests arrive during the scheduled party time they are more than welcome to join in and participate for the rest of your reserved time. We cannot extend the party time for late arrivals. Guest that arrive after the reserved party time will have to pay regular admission.
- 8. What kind of food can I bring in?
- We allow cake or cupcakes to be brought in when you have a booked party package reserved 72 hours in advance. We do not allow ice cream but If you have an ice cream cake, we can hold it in our freezer for you until it s needed. (If you have a special dietary need/allergy for someone in your group please let us know in advance so we can accommodate them.)
- 9. What form of payment can I pay with?
- We accept Visa/Mastercard, America Express Discover Card and Cash for all party deposits and final balances. No checks are accepted.
- 10. What if I want more pizza and soda?
- We always ask when paying the party balance if you would like any extra Pizzas or Soft Drinks for your guests. That way we can have them made and ready by the time all your guests have arrived. Extra Pizzas must be ordered at the time of final payment and no later in the party. Extra pitchers of soda can be ordered prior or during your party time. Extra Pizzas are $10.00 and Extra Pitchers are $7.00.
- 11. When is the Birthday Announcement and the Games played?
- We will announce the birthday child s party and age when the pizzas and soft drinks come to the table. Game times vary for different sessions but we do them about every hour to hour and a half. We try our best not to do any games right after announcing for Birthday Party guest to return to table for Pizza and Soft Drinks or Cake and Presents.
- 12. What about plates and forks for cake?
- We have plates for the pizza, napkins and cups needed for your birthday party. The table will be set up after the Birthday Party is paid for and the Pizza and Pitchers are brought to the table with themed plates for your paid guest. If you need extra cups or plates just let your hostess know.
- 13. Can I tip my Party Hostess?
- Absolutely! Your party hostesses sole job is to take care of you and your party guests during your reserved party time. Please be clear on what you would like your party hostess to do such as; serving pizza on plates to give to guests, cutting and serving the cake, clearing or cleaning off the table, helping with gifts, etc (These things are at your personal preference and may or may not be desired.) If they do a great job of providing a fun experience and make it hassle free for you, then feel free to tip them.
